The countdown has begun for New Adana Stadium, which Adana fans have been waiting for since construction began in 2014. The new stadium, which is being built according to UEFA and FIFA standards, will be hosting 35,000. Within the scope of the ongoing works, there are 10 elevators, 2 escalators, 104 turnstiles, press and VIP stands as well as social equipment. For this new stadium , the two big local clubs, Adana Demirspor and Adanaspor, which are currently playing in the Super League, have chosen Hatko Hybridgrass as their preferred playing surface. Hatko Hybridgrass has been the choice of premiere football clubs such as FC Zenit St Petersburg, FC Copenhagen and GNK Dinamo Zagreb and Atatürk Olympic Stadium which will host Champions League Final.
HATKO Hybridgrass merges natural grass and synthetic turf where the surface combines all the benefits of the former with the strength and durability of the latter.
The surface is installed on a carefully-selected root zone layer and filled with a specifically-defined root zone mixture before high quality sports field grass is seeded into the surface. The natural grass then grows between the synthetic grass fibres to create a strong and vigorous playing surface.
The ‘open’ texture of the backing ensures that the grass roots are not obstructed in their vertical movement downwards, which in turn creates a rigorous playing field that is playable 24/7.
